Soigne - Seoul
After dinner go to Craftbros Gastro Pub nearby and enjoy a late night drink and a side dish Korean style! Maybe you will run into some of the chefs who just cooked your dinner, it is one of their favorite pubs in the area!
Chef-owner Jun Lee has worked with Susur Lee, Thomas Keller and Jonathan Benno, all culinary superstars, and he has now opened his own restaurant Soigne right here in Seoul.
His team includes, other skilled chefs, including a pastry chef and a sommelier, a pretty strong team we'd say! The reviews people leave on their facebook page is full of praise and we recommend anyone visiting Seoul to try his place out.
Soigne has its own unique scope. They only have one menu (a few great upsell options though), and it revolves around a theme that Jun Lee and his team conceptualize together. The menu changes 5 times a year and they are constantly trying to wow their guests with creative plating, spot on wine pairing but most of all flavors worthy of comparison with the best restaurants in Seoul.
Lunch starts at 30,000KRW and dinner is 85,000KRW (tasting style menu with up to 20 different dishes) and they also offer accompanying wine menus anywhere from 70,000-100,000KRW. very good value if you ask us. Comparable restaurants charge up to 120,000 for dinner and up in Seoul.
