IP Boutique Hotel - Seoul
If there’s any doubt that a citywide design accolade can spark a stylish hotel to spring up overnight, just look at IP Boutique Hotel. Replacing the lackluster Itaewon Hotel, this artsy-luxe property is unmissable from the street thanks to its playful Lego-style colored-glass façade, conceived by an avant-garde design professor at Seoul’s Hongik University. The interior is equally adventurous: the lobby features green cushions on low-hanging swings, oversize lamps, cross-shaped white vinyl couches and Japanese mixed-media art by Shintaro Ohata. A memorable ride up the elevator—which resembles a giant suitcase—brings you to one of 133 chic rooms: icy-white décor is punctuated by red carpets and vibrant pop art; while bathrooms are transparent glass, from showers to sinks and faucets. The pièce de resistance is IP’s outdoor soaking pool.
The IP Boutique Hotel is a 4-star hotel that contains amenities and facilities for both business and leisure travelers. A restaurant that serves a selection of Korean, Japanese, and Western cuisine can be found on the property. Those traveling for work may wish to make use of the hotel’s business center. An elegant game room, which is fully equipped with new slot machines, can be enjoyed 24 hours a day.
There's even a Plastic surgery and dermatology clinic inside the hotel in case you need a nip and tuck..
